Herald-Sun column on Glen Lennox NIMBYism

Glen Lennox GoogleGroup folks --
I have posted under files a guest column that Gary Gaddy wrote
for the Herald-Sun, and published June 26th, either in the hard copy
or on their blog, or both. Molly brought it to my attention today,
and perhaps others saw it either back at the end of June, or today for
the first time. I was completely unaware of it until today; we were
out of the country from June 28th until July 14th. Just to clarify,
however, I did *not* say that I was "heading the Glen Lennox
Neighborhood Conservation District petition drive” as Gary implies.
We are all in it together. My wife and I did join Gary and other
members of his family on holiday a couple of weeks ago. Gary said
nothing about this column when we were together, and I don't recall
talking about Glen Lennox with him at all. I think it is probably too
late to write a response to this particular column in the form a
letter to the editor. I think, however, it would be helpful to
continue to address the potential NIMBY accusation, perhaps in our own
guest columns, on the radio with Ron Stutts, or someplace else.
NIMBYism on the part of Glen Lennox will clearly keep cropping up as
an issue.
