Neighbors,

You have received emails about Obey Creek.  Here is a chance to learn about the project from the citizen point of view and find out what a better, not bigger Obey Creek would mean to people who use Fordham and 15-501 regularly.

Did you know that if the Town Council could vote as early as June to approve East West Partners request to build 1.6 million square feet of housing, retail and office space at Obey Creek, a development larger than the Streets of Southpoint? Is this project a good deal for the town? How can it be improved?  How can we avoid 15-501 becoming a parking lot?

Come learn the key facts about how the Obey Creek project will impact our town’s traffic, schools, water quality, and fiscal health.

  • Sunday, May 17, 3 – 5 pm, What’s Happening with Obey Creek?  Location: Christ Methodist Church, 800 Market Street, Southern Village. 
  • Monday, May 18, 2015 at 7:00 pm – Town Council Public Hearing  Come to the Town Council public hearing to give comments and hear what is said. Let the Town Council members know what you think!
