To all of you who are eager to aid The Zeitgeist Movement in
translating movement-related material into Lithuanian, thank you very
much.

First things first, everyone should get an idea of how the Linguistic
Team functions, and how translations are carried out. Should you need
real-time advice, feel free to contact any of the coordinators listed
below, and we'll answer your questions.

After which, those that feel up to the challenge should attempt to
fill the shoes of a Lithuanian Linguistic Team coordinator, who will
coordinate the effort of the Lithuanian team in line with the rest of
the
language teams.

Besides the Google Group for communication, the Linguistic Team also
uses:

* The Linguistic Team forum on the Global TZM Site-
http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_kunen...

* Visit http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_kunen...
for a guide to the Linguistic Team

* Teamspeak meetings- http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/wiki/index.php?title=Linguistic_T...

* Tutorial for Teamspeak (subs included) setup-
http://dotsub.com/view/4c7ed66b-5851-40db-9d68-e48d5c43b314

* The Linguistic Team Wiki, our temporary PMS-
http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/wiki/index.php?title=ZM_Linguisti...
(Vital information relating to the translation effort can also be
found here)

* The International Linguistic Team Google Groups-
http://groups.google.com/group/zm-intl-linguistic-team (which you
originally joined and is overwhelming the coordinators at the moment)

While the above applies for translation efforts, if your interests are
more oriented towards English transcription and proofreading, you can
contact the English coordinators on skype:

Gman: GmanZM
Ezra: ezra_ho
Nomada: azoreno
Lizardman: metal_owns

Thank you for your interest and we hope to build a wonderful
Linguistic Team together with you, spreading the message of TVP/TZM to
all the world.

Hi folks,

Unfortunately the above links are mistaken, so here are corrected
ones:

The Priority list - this is a list of all materials that the
Linguistic team is handling. In order of importance:
http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/wiki/index.php?title=LT_Priority_List

The Linguistic Team forum on the Global TZM Site -
http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=99999&func=showcat&catid=265

Here are the recordings from the meetings the team holds on Teamspeak:
http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/wiki/index.php?title=Linguistic_Team_Meetings

Also, here is a tutorial on how to get set up on Teamspeak, so that
you can be able to join us on the next meeting (which is on 20th
November at 19:00 GMT):
http://dotsub.com/view/4c7ed66b-5851-40db-9d68-e48d5c43b314&usg=AFQjCNEa5sU4Sz6c0BdICDo3cYRRwnzJ6w

This is the wiki page for the Linguistic team, here you can find
information about the structure of the team, the materials that it is
handling and many more: http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/wiki/index.php?title=ZM_Linguistic_Team

For now, there is no coordinator to assist you guys, to give you
materials to translate and so on. This is why we, the coordinators for
the other languages, will try to help you as much as we can. We are
hoping that you will review the above links and then come to our
meetings on Teamspeak and to the forum, check out the Priority list
and get fully involved in this amazing worldwide collaborative effort.
If there is someone that is willing to take the role of a coordinator,
please get in touch via skype: metal_owns, or via e-mail:

Hi Mr. Me! Sorry we toke so long to reply. I notice that this group mail haven't had any exchange until now, unfortunately, since it exists exactly to facilitate communication inside the group : ) Maybe they are shy and when you launch a big SVEIKI!!!, someone will answer : )

Great that you asked, Mr.Me! I will give you the links for the first steps to start translating and explain it to you the best I can, so you can pass the information to other members of this group, when they ask. And since everything explained in our own language gets much better understood, right? : )

Ok. If you opened the links on the last mail of this thread, by Lizardman, there is a priority list that all teams take. The top priority on that list is The Venus Project website. Of course, that is the main reason we are here : ) At least until the subtitles from Zeitgeist Moving Forward arrive. It will be very important that all you gain some experience translating until then, since it will be a stressful short time task.

TVP website is translated on Pootle, our online translations assistant software. To be able to use Pootle you have to go through a registration process that is very well explained o this slide show made by a member from the arabic team. But it is in english, don't worry : ) Follow the steps and, I strongly suggest, read the Pootle guidelines which the link is on the same slide show. Add me on skype so I can help you on anything you might need. My skype name is "azoreno". One alternative to skype is that you install Team Speak, also on the links that Lizardman posted here, and my nickname on Team Speak is "nomada".

Team Speak tutorial here:
http://dotsub.com/view/4c7ed66b-5851-40db-9d68-e48d5c43b314

Skype here : )
http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/windows/

I am pretty much on the internet all day. So the chance I will be around when you need is big. Bring the cookies and I make the tea. Soon we will be putting the Venus Project website in Lithuanian!!!

Anyone that wants to join the fun, just "reply" to this email!

hugs,
nomada
