	Annual Conference 2010 Our 15th Annual District Conference was just completed yesterday.  The highlight was our election and ordination of two new elders, Remigijus Matulaitis and Vidas Micuta and also the addition of Jelena Provilavičienė as a part-time local pastor who will work in Panevezys in addition to her diaconal work in Birai. This was Bishop Alsted’s first Conference in Lithuania and his leadership made for a smooth meeting and a spirit filled time.  You can check out pictures from the link of Annual Conference Pictures.  You can also read about details and see reports from Annual Conference by going to our webpage: www.lithuaniaumc.org . Change of Appointments We had a number of changes in Appointments that were made at this Annual Conference.  All changes are effective on May 1st.  You can download a copy of the appointment list for your information. If your Partner Church has a change in pastors in Lithuania please take time to send the new pastor a note of welcome and introduce yourself to them so they can get acquainted with you. Missionaries, the Campbells will return to US It was also announced officially at Annual Conference that the Campbells will return to the US when their contract with Global Ministries expires on June 30, 2010.  Bonnie and I have been missionaries for 18 years in Lithuania and in Alaska.  We feel it is time to be closer to our 4 children and their families including our 7 grandchildren.  We will both be receiving appointments to local churches in the Baltimore Washington Conference. We have had a wonderful experience in Lithuania and will do all that we can to make a good transition for new leadership.  Global Ministries is actively searching for new missionary replacements.  If you know of pastors that might be interested they can contact the Mission Personnel Department at Global Ministries, Bruce Griffith or you can be in direct contact with Bishop Christian Alsted or you can also contact me, John Campbell if you want some additional information about what the needs are in Lithuania. Children’s Camp June 21-23 Our summer Children’s Camp will be held in June this year.  If you are bringing a VIM team to Lithuania during this time and would like to connect with the camp please be in touch with Andzelika. (mailto:andzelikamicu...@gmail.com)  This should be a wonderful camp and a good opportunity for our children to explore their relationship to God.
