Dear Mr Raj,

I have read your novel, that you so kindly sent to me. I was very disappointed; your strong prejudice against the Catholic Church and Gandhiji, makes the book rather of a poor taste; your opposition to the caste system is understandable. But the kind of language that you put in the mouth of Gandhi and the pope simply do not give you any credit, except showing yourself in a very poor light; you have a very fertile imagination but used mostly in a futile manner. 

I share some of the concerns you express in your novel, but the approach I do not appreciate.
