Gracious Reader,

Thank you for your continued support. It's been a good quarter.
Readership has increased by 2600%. I'd like to stabilize at 2000% for
the next twenty quarters, and then I'll settle for a 50-100% increase
per quarter. The first issue was read less than two hundred times in
its two-week run; dispatch eleven was read nearly (or more than, I
don't get real stats until two days after the fact) six hundred times
in its two-week run.

You'll notice some changes to the way stories are archived as well as
some changes to the way the whole site is rendered--for the best
effect, make sure you have the latest version of your browser, and for
the safest experience, make sure you're using something other than the
dreaded Internet Exploder.

I am still looking for a culture editor. What I have in mind is
something like what Jason Behrends does at Orange Alert: reading/
listening/watching, etc. (http://orangealert.net/node/411) It wouldn't
be a hard job for a culturally active individual.

dispatch twelve is by a first-time author, the filmmaker Travis Mills.
