Hello everybody,

Long time, no talk. I know. Ten years or so since the second launch of dispatch.

Don't think it's coming back. I'm a father of four now. I'm a full-time writer with CCN.com.

Anyway, I've thought a lot recently about how my life would have gone if things had been the way they are today when I started writing. A lot has changed. Back in those days, no one really expected to make money for writing fiction or creative non fiction online. Most payments were nominal if existent.

But today, we don't have that problem. I'd like to invite you all to check out a few websites I've discovered in my years reporting on cryptocurrency.

The one I like best at this point is called Honest.cash. You don't need money to sign up, but you can begin earning immediately just by blogging and engaging in content. You can sell content if you like, or just put it out for free and hope for tips and upvotes. Like Reddit, they have an upvote system, but the difference is you get paid. Even better than that, if you upvote a piece of content that someone else then upvotes, you get a small bit of the amount they spend to upvote. This is called a "curation" reward. Users on Honest.cash use Bitcoin Cash, which you can easily liquidate to Paypal using a free Coinbase account. FYI if you use that link (
https://www.coinbase.com/join/pmadore), you'll get $10 to start with at Coinbase -- I think you have to verify your account first, and you'll need to do that to get your funds to Paypal or bank wire anyway. It's not a hard process; it's like signing up for any other online financial product.)

Extremely important note here: with Honest.cash, you are empowered to own your Bitcoin Cash wallet. Therefore you need to be careful with it. Back it up. Use a secure password. The thing literally belongs to you and the staff are not able to reset wallets -- only issue new ones. So do be careful in that part, and feel free to e-mail me bitill...@gmail.com if you need any pointers on how to use these newfangled technologies. I'm actually considered an "expert" in some aspects of this field, at this point, due to so much intense exposure.

Yours.org is another version of that site. They use a different cryptocurrency called Bitcoin SV. I generally don't like that community anymore because it's all meta talk about Bitcoin SV and Craig Wright, their godhead.

Then there is another really good one, Cent.co. This site uses Ethereum, the #2 cryptocurrency in the world. The process can work just like Honest.cash as far as getting your funds out, but you don't get an immediate withdrawal, it can take 24 hours. I don't like that part. On Honest.cash, you actually own that wallet -- if you want to take it with you, you can. Cent works a lot different, but I found that I made more money there. With just a few posts I was already up to $20. As I said in the beginning of this e-mail, coming from where many of us come from in this whole online writing thing, to make anything at all still feels weird. Of course, I now have a full-time job writing, but I never expected that, either, being self-educated and so on.

Well, I just wanted to pass on the tip. There's another community called Steemit, but it's much more like Facebook, a long stream of bad content. I know many of you are amazing writers and you will be able to utilize the pay wall and tipping systems effectively -- hope some of you make a few thousand by Christmas.

Just thought I'd share.

Have a good weekend.
