Good books sales. Very reasonable conference fee and housing. Two years ago, two other Wompos that I didn't know showed up there with new books. We had quite a round of meet-ups.

I'd describe the conference as formalist-friendly, but all are welcome, no exceptions.
But don't just take my word for it. Here's what Adam Vines, editor of The Birmingham Review had to say: "This was my first time attending the conference, and I felt so welcomed. The panels were outstanding--better than I have attended at the dozens of conferences and festivals I have attended over the years. The folks were so bright and informed and generous. I loved it, truly."

It's Christina, and it's not the Gazette. Instead, I've got a question. Now that this year's AWP is over, I started wondering about other conferences and festivals you attend that you find support poetry. Or do you not go to these large gatherings at all?
