New Book of interest

Hello all, 

I'm writing to let folks know that my new book, In Sickness and In Health: Love Stories from the Frontlines of America's Caregiving Crisis is now out! It was published by HarperCollins and available at all major booksellers and there's links to several different ones on the publisher's site linked above. The book blends memoir, reportage, and cultural criticism to help us better understand the caregiving crisis, and so much more. 

It has gotten some good coverage in AARP The Magazine, USA Today, Mother Jones, etc and received a starred review from Publisher's Weekly, which is awesome! It is a trade book written for a lay audience and very accessible so great for students and anyone in your life with a relationship to disability, chronic illness, and/or caregiving. I've also been on tour and have two more in person dates in April, one in Buffalo and another in Portland, ME -- if you live in one of those places, I hope you come on by!
