A performance and conversation about musicmedicine, and pain management, featuring Will Sheff of the band Okkervil River, music critic Tim Page, geriatrician Julio Defilo, oncologist Fred Schiffman and oncology fellow William Page of Brown University, anthropologist Sarah Williams of the University of Connecticut, medical humanities scholar Kim Adams of Wheaton College.

This public event on music and medicine is organized by the Politics of the Prescription Pad, a working group on pain management as a cultural process supported by a faculty seed grant from the Pembroke Center at Brown University.
