Make sure the author's name, the title, and, in the case of visual art,
the medium of the submitted work are clearly indicated. In December,
writers and artists will be notified of whether their submissions have
been accepted; minor proofreads and edits (usually length-related for
writers) will generally be suggested at that time.
ART GUIDELINES: Each artist may submit up to 5 works of art. E-mail

<mailto:cumc-re...@columbia.edu>. All common file formats (jpg,
tiff, pdf, etc.) are accepted. Pixel size should be a minimum of 300 dpi
for a 4x6 photo, 600 dpi if possible.
***If you are interested in helping with writing and art selections,
please email us! In mid-December, we will hold three different sessions
devoted to selecting poetry, prose, and art for the journal. Each
session will run 1.5 to 2 hours.
Reflexions is the literary and fine arts journal of the Columbia
University Medical Center. It is published annually, in the spring.
Sample copies of past issues are available in the P&S Club Office.
