AndI recently did the latest update for LightBurn. My last project was non-rotary and I am doing a rotary now, so I went to machine settings to load my saved rotary settings and there is nothing there. It just says communication with controller failed. So I tried loading the default settings and I cannot not get those back either. I tried re-starting the program, turning the laser on and off, disconnecting from the laser. Nothing seams to work and I cannot load any of my saved settings.
Is it possible that you knocked something loose when switching to rotary? Suggest you revisit all your connections to make sure nothing looks off. Is your laser otherwise behaving as you expect? Have you tried reverting back to non-rotary to see if that makes a difference?
Edit:
Just saw that you are using unoffical modification to the code. You should always debug such issues with a pristine Klipper WITHOUT any modifications. Klipper is complex and very sensitive to timing, so a slight oversight in any of these modifications can lead to unwanted and impossible to diagnose issues.
Or you can make a board publicly shareable: -us/articles/

The downside to the shareable board is that anyone with the link can see all the board information. Which in many cases breaks security requirements.
I have recently created a scenario in integromat that watches for emails sent to a specific email address and create an update on a relevant item that has the same email address.
here is an image of the scenario if you wanna give it a go:
Screen Shot 2021-06-17 at 9.39.18 AM1239483 41.6 KB
fair enough on getting your security teams sign-off. Honestly though if you have other types of Integration needs then integromat is excellent for anything of this nature,
monday.com or otherwise. They are an industry leader and overall have sound security. (GDPR compliant and such).
I would highly recommend seeing it as a tool for organizations looking to streamline their workflow and I really think it has return on value for doing a security assessment and onboarding it to your company. Granted a little bit much just for this one email communication. But it is a very powerful tool.
I had this exact same problem and couldn't find an answer anywhere. I was using Xcode on my 2015 macbook pro and was on Big Sur. All I did was update my system to Monterey and updated xcode and now it doesn't display that error message and I'm able to see the console output on the side panel. Hope it helps everyone with the same issue. Naughty problem to have when you're just starting out with xcode dev.
Thank you for the reply. The problem is not with the line feed because it works if I write like 3 times as you can see in my code and also the code in arduino is just does this : if serial.available then write back what I read.
The error you are getting is most likely from the fact that you set your timeout to be 2 seconds, then wait for 3000 characters to arrive in your VISA read. Are you expecting 3000 chars? Remember, your Term Char has been disabled, so it is patently waiting for ALL the characters to arrive.
I added the termination concatenating string and I changed the code in arduino in such a way that I don't really need a term char to get a reply. 2 Seconds 300 characters is stupid, I agree I was trying to check what is happening and messed here and there I guess. I will upload the simple version of the code which still is not working normally but working with visa write inside a for loop. Could you please check the program.
I do not see any problems with the labview code. The only thing I could suggest would be to clear the buffers before writing anything. (Generally only a problem when connecting or disconnected the RS232 cables, or connecting to a spewing source)
Effective communication sounds like it should be instinctive. But all too often, when we try to communicate with others something goes astray. We say one thing, the other person hears something else, and misunderstandings, frustration, and conflicts ensue. This can cause problems in your home, school, and work relationships.
But by learning effective communication skills, you can deepen your connections to others, build greater trust and respect, and improve teamwork, problem solving, and your overall social and emotional health
When communicating with others, we often focus on what we should say. However, effective communication is less about talking and more about listening. Listening well means not just understanding the words or the information being communicated, but also understanding the emotions the speaker is trying to convey.
Favor your right ear. As strange as it sounds, the left side of the brain contains the primary processing centers for both speech comprehension and emotions. Since the left side of the brain is connected to the right side of the body, favoring your right ear can help you better detect the emotional nuances of what someone is saying.
Developing the ability to understand and use nonverbal communication can help you connect with others, express what you really mean, navigate challenging situations, and build better relationships at home and work.
Deliver your words clearly. In many cases, how you say something can be as important as what you say. Speak clearly, maintain an even tone, and make eye contact. Keep your body language relaxed and open.
Look for humor in the situation. When used appropriately, humor is a great way to relieve stress when communicating. When you or those around you start taking things too seriously, find a way to lighten the mood by sharing a joke or an amusing story.
Agree to disagree, if necessary, and take time away from the situation so everyone can calm down. Go for a stroll outside if possible, or spend a few minutes meditating. Physical movement or finding a quiet place to regain your balance can quickly reduce stress.
Direct, assertive expression makes for clear communication and can help boost your self-esteem and decision-making skills. Being assertive means expressing your thoughts, feelings, and needs in an open and honest way, while standing up for yourself and respecting others. It does NOT mean being hostile, aggressive, or demanding. Effective communication is always about understanding the other person, not about winning an argument or forcing your opinions on others.
If you are not confidently to perform the suggested action. I would suggest to please raise HPE support ticket with HPE support team, So that we can arrange remote session and perform the suggested action.

Amazing! works really good! I was able to run it without much problem.
The only thing that I would try to improve is handling speech issues: I paused to think for a second and the sentence was already processed. Or if I speech while he speaks. Not sure what happens then. This is a very common issue when speaking to AI bots.
I might change the prompt and condition it if the sentence looks complete. If not - let it return some keyword. Then you will know to process the next audio and add it to the current prompt.
If you do that, the speech might be more natural even if I stop to think for a second.
Hi @Luka_Spahija - Awesome work and I agree that the future of interfaces would change. Your work is very relevant to a use case that I have been working on. Would love to collaborate and see how I can help contribute. Not sure how the forum works but if you can direct message me, that would be great.
I wonder the amount of solutions currently out there, is there a website or catalogue or specialist who knows all of them, what AI platforms can we benefit from in our journey? This would be great for our Startup, as we currently have no CTO on board.
To fix the pause for a seconds I built a buffer system that takes the input converts it stores and waits for 1 seconds to see if any more show up and if so append and repeat if nothing in 1 sec send for processing.
easy logic works great. If you want to take it further you can use machine learning for patterns overtime so it can learn the speakers way of talking to optimize timing which can reduce delay if you need it as close as possible to reduce over all time
This is the same problem as steve2k7 reported, but with different hardware so I started a different thread.
The APC monitoring software runs find for a few weeks then it decides it's lost the UPS, restarting the services doesn't have any effect. I had this once before and removed the USB cable and replaced it and that cleared the "lost" UPS. But that is not a solution; the server is in a locked room and should not be touched.
Windows still seems to think the UPS is there as it's listed on device manager under HI devices as "American Power Conversion USB UPS".
The UPS is a Smart-UPS 1500i tower, it's connected by USB to a Dell Poweredge 2900 server running Windows 2003 Server R2. There's no serial connections involved, it's pure USB.
I'm running Powerchute Business Edition v7.0.4, installed from the CD supplied with the UPS.
Any help appreciated.
Hello,
Have you tried to brain-dead the units to ensure proper communication on those USB ports?
To do so:
1. Turn off all load and disconnect from UPS
2. Turn off UPS and disconnect from the wall
3. Remove communications cables
4. Depress Off button for approximately 4-6 seconds until you hear a click.
Set everything back up plugging in only the USB cable.
You mentioned something about USB Hubs....You're not communicating with these through physical USB hubs are you? Because that would be the point of failure
