Hey guys,

I really think you've done an excellent job so far. I posted here
before & I told you that I teach Time Management courses & I check
out a lot of tools & yours is outstanding.

But I think you are letting your hard work down by the delay in
meeting your deadlines.

You promised the iphone client in Novemeber, & Novemeber came &
went... & now we're in December.

You haven't upgraded Listo since September!! That's 3 months ago. And
as you know 90 days is a long time for those of us who manage our
time.

I have very high hopes for Listo. I want to recommend it in my Time
Management seminars & I am absolutly sure beyond doubt that once fully
developed it will catch on like fire in a dry forest. But you're gonna
have to get more active with the project for that to happen.

With best intentions & support,

Basem.

Hi Basem,

thanks for your input and genuine support.

You are right, there has been no update to listo for 90 days.
However, this does not mean that listo has been abandoned and is a
dead project. Not at all!
Tom and I have spent quite some time researching the current market
for todo mgmt. applications both on and off the iPhone.
We see even more opportunities for listo now than we saw 3 months ago.
There is so much that can be, no, needs to be done right, that we are
looking forward to its future with even more excitement.
We are also very pleased with the impact the first versions had and
how they were received.

The reason that recent development has been slower than originally
intended lies in the fact that one of our other projects (of the ones
that currently pay our bills) presented some unexpected opportunities
in October that we simply had to take. This meant a short break in
listo active development. The good news is that this work has just
been completed, which means listo will return to number one priority
this week. Meanwhile quite a few ideas have ripened over time and we
have very clear plans on how to proceed.

I'm sorry if some of our earlier statements were perceived as
communication of fixed deadlines. This was not intended. We simply
cannot commit to any fixed dates since listo is not yet generating any
revenue and the amount of time we can allocate to it is not completely
foreseeable.
However, there will be more, much more, coming.

Our goal is clear: Making listo the best task management available on
the market.

Cheers from the cold and foggy Black Forest,

Mathias

Basem brings up an excellent point. Delays can hurt listo momentum. :
(

Because people are generally understanding, I think the easy fix to
this would be to keep your users up to date on your blog. Knowing
what you guys are up to, even if it is not in regards to listo
development, would probably alleviate concerns.

I wouldn't even be surprised if people became more loyal and
supportive to listo if they found out how hard working you guys yet
you still find time for listo.

Mathias,

I appreciate your frank reply & as Jared mentioned I am sure alot of
users will too.

So Hopefully we will see some action on Listo & I am sure that it will
be a very good revenue generator for you and a time saver for us :)

Btw, as I mentioned earlier I've done much research in the Iphone Time
Meanagement area & would be glad to provide you with info if you need
it.

Good Luck.

Jared,

the point about the blog is a good one and well appreciated.
We have indeed neglected the blog as an instrument of keeping you guys
informed about developments "behind the scene".

We will change that!

Cheers,
Mathias

Very good!
Actually I do think that this would be a good time for having a
discussion with you (and whoever wants to participate) about the
current state of the iPhone Todo/Time Management/GTD area...

I'll start a new thread on that topic to get your input.

Thanks for the support!!!

Cheers,
Mathias

I should have mentioned this URL: http://www.priacta.com/Articles/Comparison_of_GTD_Software.php

You may have already seen it, but it is a running list of To-Do
related software that is kept fairly up-to-date.
