slow loading

For a while Listen Up has been rather slow at loading the queue, over
a minute some times. I wonder if it's due to the Recent Items.

Galaxy S3, Android 4.3, 26 items in queue, 100s in the Recent Items, maybe 1000.

Is there a way to clear that list?
