Call for Papers:
The 19th Workshop on Computer Vision (WVC 2024) will be held (in person) at UFV - Rio Paranaíba (Federal University of Viçosa - Campus Rio Paranaíba), located in Rio Paranaíba, MG, on November 6, 7, and 8, 2024.

The program includes a wide spectrum of topics of interest related to Computing Vision shared by researchers from Brazil and around the world, and it provides a unique forum for exchanging ideas and results.
The event will also offer special sessions and lectures given by prominent experts, covering the main areas of research in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence.
There will also be a contest for theses and dissertations in computer vision (CTDVC), where theses or master's and doctoral dissertations in the area of the event can be presented during the event. The thesis or dissertation must have been defended by June 30, 2024.
This year, the WSIS (Workshop of Information Systems) will take place alongside WVC, bringing together undergraduate students through lectures, paper presentations, and round-table discussions.
VIEMAP (VIsual Exploration for Widespread MAPping using aerial and street-level images): this track aims to gather researchers and practitioners to explore innovative computer vision techniques for detecting elements in aerial and street-level images, focusing on their application in collaborative mapping endeavors.

The manuscript must be submitted electronically, as a PDF file.
The conference accepts articles written in English or Portuguese, but the manuscript title and abstract must be written in English.
The abstract should contain no more than 150 words, and the manuscript total length should not exceed 6 pages.
The manuscripts should be formatted using the following templates, which are blind-submission review-formatted templates (link for the templates).
All papers must be submitted electronically using the following link.
WVC 2024 reviewing is double-blind, in that authors do not know the names of the area chairs/reviewers of their papers, and area chairs/reviewers do not know the names of the authors
Avoid providing information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgments (e.g., co-workers and grant IDs).
Avoid providing links to websites that identify the authors. Violation of any of these guidelines will lead to rejection without review.
By submitting a manuscript to WVC 2024, the authors guarantee that it has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in substantially similar form.
It is the author's responsibility to ensure that all authors on their paper have registered their conflicts into CMT website. Conflicts are needed to resolve assignments to both reviewers and area chairs.
