This is another aspect of Ge'arthnuns sevenitis. In G'earthnuns order:

north - to"mebs
down - kfi'nors
south - mne'fo"ts
center - zhengo"ns (kinda the "You Are Here" spot)
west - shuraks
up - laitels
east - i'eveths

NSEWCenter on the same plane as the speaker; up, center, down on a line
through the speaker.
