scache statistics lookup hits

I am troubleshooting intermittent connection refusal issues between my postfix and an smtp relay. I don't know if this is related but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this or knows if it is of any concern:
Jan 06 10:02:56 host postfix/scache[2653220]: statistics: start interval Jan 6 10:01:09
Jan 06 10:02:56 host postfix/scache[2653220]: statistics: domain lookup hits=2 miss=1 success=66%
Jan 06 10:02:56 host postfix/scache[2653220]: statistics: address lookup hits=0 miss=1 success=0%
Jan 06 10:02:56 host postfix/scache[2653220]: statistics: max simultaneous domains=1 addresses=1 connection=1
Every time statistics runs either all or some are miss. I can't really correlate miss to refused connection though. I do not see any DNS warn or error messages in journal or maillog.
