co-founded the Cypherpunks with John Gilmore and Tim May. A roving band of
cryptographers, privacy advocates, and digital anarchists, the Cypherpunks
have an incredibly prolific email list that generates megabytes of postings
per week, synthesizing mathematical abstraction with the practical issues
of a cultural revolution.

Eric joins host Jon Lebkowsky in the Electronic Frontiers forum
on Thursday, 11 July at 6 p.m. PDT (Friday 01:00 GMT) to discuss encryption
politics and the future management of communication on the Net.
