I am trying to compile isdn4k-utils-3.0beta2, but the compilation stops
when it does not find ndbm.h on my RedHat 6.0 system.

Could someone check where this file should come from, which RPM-package
I should install? If I had installed everything from RedHat I would
probably have it...

By the way: I just want to get on the net with my Teles S0/16.3 card,
which shold be supported. Is it OK to use isdn4k-utils-3.0beta2 or
should I get another version for RedHat 6.0?

Thanks for any help. I can read German, but am not so used to writing
it since it a long time since my schooldays...

After some reading and investigating I managed to get things working. I
got isdn4linux-utils version 3.1beta7, compiled and installed it. Tested
that the hardware was set up OK with two minicom sessions (description
in a dutch page, see the FAQ). I then installed two RPMs, isdn4net and
isdnadmin. They were a good help. I also manually checked some
networking files under /etc.

So now I am online, and dynamically connecting/disconnecting. It seems
to work well so far, even if I have to dial manually some times after a
disconnect. This happens when I am reading News for too long (have to
restart gnus in emacs) or click a new link in Netscape after disconnect
has been done.
