Hi all,

On my mandrake 8.2 with a PCI Dynalink 128P ISDN adapter (reckognised as
Cologne Chips Designs, 2BDS0, type 35) I get an error configuring the
internet via the Mandrake Control Center:"Problems occurred during
configuration, etc".
The strange thing is however that when I click the syandard desktop icon
"Connect to Internet", the Network Monitoring says: "Connection failed",
and "Not connected".
However, usually (not always) it DOES WORK!

Any idea what could be wrong?

I did read the documents in www.mandrakeuser.org/docs/connect/cisdn.html
and see no strange things when I follow the guidelines thye give there:

modprobe hisax type=35 id=Dynalink
service isdn4linux restart
ifup ippp0
isdnctrl dial ippp0

I get connected this way, and again the Network Monitor pops up: "Not
connected"...
I did not have these problems with Mandrake 8.1 at all!

Any idea's?

Thanks,

Eric
