Hi

I'm trying to get my internal PCI modem working

dmesg | grep sio {reports}
sio2: configured irq 10 not in bitmap of probed irqs 0x10
sio2: at port 0x3e8-0x3ef irq 10 in ias0
sio2: type 16550A

Which tells me (right / wrong) that FreeBSD has detected a COM 3 port

But why can't I dial out using ppp or tip ??
Also I see that ppp uses tun0 which is connected to COM 1, how do I change
this to COM 3 ??

if u solve this, please help me out too. I have an internal modem that
fBSD recodnizes and it says teh same thing

sio0: <3com PCI FaxModem> port 0xc000-0xc007 irq 5 at device 12.0 on
pci0
sio0: moving to sio4
sio4: type 16550A

yeah... i need help too. Minicom recognizes it, when I run it, it
initialises the modem and everything but when I type "AT", I don't get
anything in return.
