Editing Image with Touch-Up Tool

I have Acrobat 7.0 pro. I also have PS 9.0, which is set as the
default image editor.

At one point, when I would use the edit image tool in Acrobat to
lighten or enhance an image within a pdf document, it would open the
image in Photoshop, I would make my adjustments and click "save" and
it would return the edited image back exactly where it came from in
the pdf document.

Lately, it returns it to the same page, but always to the lower left
corner. I am able to move it manually back into position, but it's
"one more step" (I know some of you know wheat I'm talking about,
while others think I'm whining!)

I had read that this is typical of non-adobe editing programs, but
that Photoshop should return it to the exact point it came from.

Any thoughts?
