I have put together a brief history of peering arrangements, and am now
starting on an economic analysis of peering--how it effects costs and
performance, etc. I'm trying to get in touch with people in the industry to
ask questions such as: Why do you peer? What do you gain? Why do some
companies charge for peering? Why do others pay for peering? When I'm
finished, I'll put the information together to give a picture of the various
perspectives. I'd appreciate useful input, either via email or the phone.

Thanks, Jennifer DePalma
