VPN over a pipeline 50?

I'm having the time of my life tying to configure this pipeline 50 to
work with VPN. I'm setting up a network for a company that has a NT
server running PTP on it. From inside the lan I get on the vpn fine and
all works just great. But when I dial up to an isp and try to get on it
its a no go. Is there something I need to do special on this pipeline
50. I have upgraded to software version 8.0.1-110 I think it is. If
anybody has any clues please let me know. I'm in a huge bind. Thanks
