No, sorry, haven't tried this with PPTP. If you are using IPSec (i.e. W2K),
there are issues with NAT, plus you have to open up IPSec in the firewall,
etc. However, I don't think PPTP should be subject to the NAT problems.
To make sure your problem is truly with the firewall, you could temporarily
set up a complete trust to the domain or host at the other end of the VPN.
You could also turn on logging using the fwalldblog command from diagnotic
mode (Ctrl-] to stop), or log to a file on another machine (per router
doc's -- haven't tried this myself yet). This will log firewall rejects, so
you can see what port(s) the rejected packets are trying to use.
