Windows users are assigned an IP address from my one and only address
pool... Ethernet-->Mod Config-->WAN options. A macintosh user is
somehow getting my nameserver's IP address! This address is most
definitely NOT in my connection pool. This seems incredibly strange.
I've checked the nameserver hoping that it was a reverse lookup
problem. Its not. I checked the Max's settings, and they look okay. I'm
running a setup with a default connection profile, and having radius
make any changes at login, but no changes to IP. This user will match
the default connection profile.

So! The only idea I have is that somehow the MAX is letting the user
specify the IP address and he mistakenly put the DNS address in his IP
address field. If this is indeed the case, how do I tell the MAX to
only give out addresses in the pool, and deny other requests? (If I
eventually need to give out static IP's I imagine that I'll let radius
give them out...)
