amanda error could not access permission denied

If you run 'amcheck' and get a similar error:

ERROR: linuxpvamelb: [could not access /dev/i2o/hdb2 (/home):
Permission denied]

Try changing the permissions on the block device:

chmod 744 /dev/i2o/hdb2 will give (rwxr--r--) permissions.

This should solve the permission denied problem.
