Hi,

Not sure what a sandbox is -- could you clarify?

Are you saying that after you set up synchronization, the settings
don't seem to stick? If this is the case, something's wrong, perhaps
list-it is conflicting with one of your other FF add-ons (despite our
best effort to avoid such situations, it nonetheless happens
sometimes) -- or might be a compatibility issue. What version of FF
are you running, and do you have any unusual other add-ons?

This is probably not answering your question, but list-it uses
Firefox's built-in secure password storage system, called
nsIPasswordManager to store your username and password. It stores
that somewhere in your user profile directory.

Let me know if this helps,
Max

Max,

a sandbox is a virtual runtime enviorment similar to a virtual
machine. The sandboxed application (in my case FF 3.6.3 + several
addons) is copied into the enviorment and then run. Any access to disk
and reg is intercepted and held in the sandbox. The application is not
able to regognize this behavior. As soon as the sandbox is deleted
(which is done manual in my case) all changes which were done on disk
and reg are gone.
I can configure my sandbox to grand direct access to special files and
reg locations. My whole FF profile is accessable for FF and installed
Addons... So list.it should be able to store its information in my
profile. But it doesn't looks like.

In list.it settings I don't see mail/password filled in. And when I
hit 'syncronize', I get no feedback it sync was successfull. Beside my
issue it might be helpful for others to have some kind of log or
status so we can see whats going on regarding sync.

Can you give me some information how to make sure that the accountdata
is stored valid and sync status, before we go deeper inside?

My congrats for list.it add on. It looks great! Just as feebback here
are some features I would appreciate in future:
- importance (low, normal, high)
- sort options
- clipboard storage (store any kind of data - like word/windows
clipboard. pictures, rich text, ...)
at the moment I use MS Word for that because it doesn't care about
the content. Any clipboard content can be stored in a DOC-file.
for list.it you may think about such a feature. To keep the
look&feel thoose notes should have a title + binary storage +
CopyBackToClipboardButton
I see no need to display thoose clipboard content in list.it. Just
an icon and copyback function would be OK.

Thanks for your quick response.
Looking forward reading you.

Kind Regards
