to list-it
Currently, having just installed list-it on windows XP it shows
horizontally at the bottom of Firefox. When I installed it on my mac
it shows on the left hand side vertically.

Is there a way of changing this ?

Hi John,

The "horizontal" appearance at the bottom is the "Quick input bar", which you can get by right-clicking the note icon. If you left-click the note icon, List-It will appear in the sidebar (on the left hand side).

On the Mac (which has only 1 mouse button), clicking the mouse corresponds to left-clicking; therefore it shows up on the sidebar. In order to pull up the quick input bar on the Mac, hold "Control" when you click on the note icon.

I hope this helps. Let me know if what I said does not make any sense -- or if you have any other questions.

Yours,
Max
