I have some fantastic news for you.
I formally filed a bug report against Mozilla today based on what I
suspected was causing list-it on everyone's OS X to crash. And in
fact, I was right!
In 5 very quick hours, Mozilla team members organized and patched what
they deemed to be very bad code within a little-used section of
Firefox.
Well, the (ever so) talented List-it team were lucky enough to use
those little used modules!
They've pushed out a fix to mozilla core, which will be shipping in a
stability release for ALL major revisions of firefox (3.5, 3.6 and the
3.7 port)
Until that hits mainstream, I've released a version of List-It
(0.4.8.5) early this morning which turns off access to the affected
code on OS X.
If you are running list-it on Mac OS X, please make sure you update to
that version. And if you continue to have any trouble with list-it on
Mac, please let us know.
Thanks again to everyone for their patience on this issue!
Max

fearless leader David)
