Call for Abstracts for the Atlantic Estuarine Research Society (AERS)
Spring 2012 Meeting!
(Apologies for cross-postings.)

Hold the Date and Spread the Word!! The meeting will be held March
8-10, 2012 at the The Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ.

This spring's meeting theme and panel discussion will center on
"Climate Vulnerability & Adaptations: Tactics and Solutions", with
talks organized into sessions on Climate Vulnerability, Adaptation,
and Tactics & Solutions. The meeting will feature several keynote
panelists.

We are delighted that our local hosts are Danielle Kreeger, Angela
Padeletti (Partnership for the Delaware Estuary), Stan Hales, Martha
Maxwell-Doyle (Barnegat Bay Partnership), David Bushek (Rutgers
University, Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory), and Peter Straub
(Richard Stockton College).

AERS aims to foster broad interest in our environment through
scientific and public awareness of current issues. We encourage
students, scientists, managers, and educators from DC, DE, MD, NC, NJ,
PA, and VA to submit abstracts.

A block of rooms is reserved at the average rate of $89/night (double
occupancy; $74 for Thursday, $103 for Friday).

The Friday night banquet will take place at the The Lobster House on
Fisherman's Wharf. The banquet is included in registration, but we
request $50 for additional guests.
