5) Talk and Poster Guidelines

Talks

·         Once abstract submission closes, an email will be sent confirming that your abstract has been accepted for an oral presentation.

·         All talks except keynotes are allocated 15 minutes (12 for the talk; 3 for questions).

·         The schedule is very tight, so session chairs will be keeping us on schedule.

·         Please bring your talks in PowerPoint or PDF format on a memory stick to the registration desk Thursday evening or first thing Friday or Saturday morning.

·         Please save your talk with your name and presentation time - this will speed up the setup process.

·         Talks will be loaded on to the presentation computer, so you can preview your slides. After you have looked them over and confirmed they meet your satisfaction, you will not be able to make any additional changes.

Posters

·         Once abstract submission closes, an email will be sent confirming your abstract has been accepted for a poster presentation.

·         Maximum poster dimensions are 44” x 40”. Portrait or Landscape orientation is your choice.

·         The poster session will be on Friday, after all the talks are finished, before the banquet.

·         Easels, backboards, and thumbtacks will be provided.

·         Directions as to when and where posters can be hung will be provided either in the confirmation email or at registration.

Talk or Poster

·         If you selected this option, an email will be sent confirming your submission and indicating the type of presentation.
