AERS Deadline Extension! 
(Apologies for cross-postings)
We are very much looking forward to what is shaping up to be another interesting and exciting AERS meeting. To that end, we are extending the deadline for Abstract Submission and Student Travel Award Applications as well as that for Pre-Registration. 

Extended Deadlines:
Abstract Submission: Friday February 10, 2012
Student Travel Award Applications: Friday February 10, 2012

Pre-Registration: Friday February 17, 2012

Note that hotel rates at The Grand Ballroom will be held until February 15, after which they will increase substantially. A block of rooms (double occupancy) is currently reserved at $74 for Thursday, $103 for Friday.

Abstracts, Pre-Registration, and Student Travel Award Applications for the Atlantic Estuarine Research Society (AERS) Spring 2012 Meeting are due February 8th!   (Apologies for cross-postings.)

Spread the Word!! The meeting will be held March 8-10, 2012 at the The Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ.

This spring's meeting theme and panel discussion will center on "Climate Vulnerability & Adaptations: Tactics and Solutions", with talks organized into sessions on Climate Vulnerability, Adaptationand Tactics & Solutions. We feature four keynote speakers/panelists: 

Dr. James Miller, Rutgers IMCS
Dr. Raymond Najjar, Penn State University, Dept. Meteorology
Dr. James Titus, U.S. EPA, Climate Change Division
Dr. Marjorie Kaplan, Rutgers Climate Change Initiative
