As discussed in our meeting today, I have created the Interlisp/charsets repo.

Our initial goal is to correct and complete the XCCS / Unicode mapping for submission to IANA.

Unfortunately I'm missing permissions for the "Impromptu Meeting" (or perhaps when somebody other than Larry records?)

Just a passing notion and only vaguely related but is it possible that some of the glyphs we are missing are available in the DOS version of Interlisp?
I don't know the full story on what's there and what's not but I wonder if some of the other implementations might have them...
Maybe an exporter could be written if so...

Sincerely,
Ryan

From what I recall, Medley for DOS is missing some fonts, so I'm not sure it has more glyphs than mainline Medley.

This is almost entirely about Japanese characters - there are glyphs published in the XCCS standard for which there is no mapping (or an incorrect mapping) to a Unicode character in the XCCS to Unicode tables.

See, for example, messages in the Lispcore google group archive with subject "Re: XCCS-unknown_Japanese.txt" (around April 7th 2026).

The "Impromptu Meeting" seems to be exactly the case of “when somebody other than Larry records”. It wasn’t a “scheduled meeting” with Fathom, so it’s Impromptu.
