Larry -

I wanted to give you an update with pictures of our new museum expansion which we debuted over the Labor Day Weekend.  This effort allows us to keep storage and "dirty" work areas in back of house and to be able to present the running machines in a clean open space.  The CM2 and Lisp Machines continue to be the #1 request from our visitors with the PDP-10 (KI10) in second place.  With the interest in AI and LISP it gives us an easy way to demonstrate the 

InterLISP online system which we will continue to feature.

The expansion also allows us to host medium sized events such as soldering/kit build workshops and possible social/meetup styled events.  Over the Labor Day weekend we also achieved an important milestone:  500+ members and sponsors!  I had hoped that we would reach that by the end of fiscal 2025 but I know that was a bit ambitious.  Still, I'm hoping for 600 by EoY along with a couple of grants.

With Living Computer Museum we just didn't have the external support and with no community

built in the middle of covid, it was difficult to road map anything to sustain it on the timeline we

had.  The lessons learned from that experience are reminding me to keep ICM strappy and lean

and continuing to focus on building our base.

ICM will continue to be engineering focused and led so that we can demonstrate hardware and software on living machines.  I believe that is fundamental to our uniqueness and success .. any

other programs will develop organically.

I sincerely appreciate your support.  We are putting together a commemorative plaque for the

individuals that have supported the museum with grants and I would be honored if you would

allow us to have your name engraved.
