Hello All,

This diagram was brought up today in the #commonlisp IRC channel and I think some edits should be made given the current state of Medley.

https://turtleware.eu/static/paste/5cc5464e-all-hierarchy.png

I think I can pull this into a vector editor and fix it and get it back to Daniel Kochmański.
Daniel is the maintainer of Embeddable Common Lisp and McCLIM so he's well known around the community.

I think the following changes may be made:

Medley is not a Lisp dialect as much as an environment.
"Medley 2.0" should probably be Xerox Common Lisp. (XCL on his diagram is something else according to Daniel)

I guess then the confusion becomes Xerox Common Lisp vs the newer "Common Lisp" as implemented in Medley.

Would the full lineage for his diagram be two parts?
BBN Lisp -> Interlisp
Xerox Common Lisp -> (Medley?) Common Lisp

I'm not sure what the official title of the newer CL on Medley is...

Sincerely,
Ryan

I see it was also posted on his Mastodon account.
I don't have an account there - too politically charged for me.
