Hmmm… Maybe I should consider a submission on SpinPro™ and PepPro™.

(“Early expert systems for domain-specific problem solving”)

I have gotten them running in Medley, and could demonstrate them and the cross-platform development environment, but I am unable to make any source code available.

Beckman Instruments’ Legal Department has explicitly told me that it cannot be released; it’s their IP.

I don’t know if I should get Beckman Instruments’ Legal Department permission to present about them. (Or is that even just a good idea, considering their previous responses.)

Maybe someone else could do a paper on using Medley to resurrect some of the “Retro AI” applications, like AM and Eurisko.

I think that would be great.

Jeff Shrager also noted that the list of topics they had there wasn't intended to be limiting.

Other ideas.

Could we muster up enough developers of several Interlisp-based “Retro AI” applications to put together a Panel Discussion proposal?

Or another paper on the Medley Interlisp Project, itself?

This seems like a nearly perfect event to discuss what we’re doing.

isn't this an in-person event in southern California?

I helped write ECLPS which was IBM's commercial expert system.
I suspect the source code is not publicly available.

IBM's ECLPS was written in Common Lisp.
