Hello All,

I've modified my little demoscene project. The coherent noise function produces the "wind" bursts.

I'll provide the code if people are interested.
The US is a young country at 250 years, but it's worth an Interlisp demo to me. :D

See attached .gif for animation. You might have to open it elsewhere to see the animation.
I'm using an old trick for the waving effect.

I'll also attach the source files.
First load RBMATH (there is a noise function used for the flag waving)
Then load JULY4TH.

You'll probably want to compile both.
Finally do (DEMOSCENE)

Hope everyone has a Happy Independence Day.
Maybe someday when color is restored I can do a revision, but the dithering turned out OK!

Aaaand my demo has a typo. I'll fix it tomorrow. Independence needs to be fixed.

Same to you!

Nice!  You can do color now but you have to run Lisp in a virtual
SparcStation 5 in QEMU.  Hopefully soon, at least I'll be able to do
color on my D0.  I checked the three tantalum capacitors on the color
board and it looks like at least one of them is bad.
