We might want to switch from zoom. Google free apps for nonprofits includes google workspace, ad grants, YouTube.

Not sure what it buys us (Interlisp.org email addresses?)

interlisp.org email domain hosting would be great, and I'd be happy to switch to Meet from Zoom.  The shared calendar would be a plus.

My daughter works for a non-profit that uses Google, I can ask her what the experience has been. Looks like they are using Google for their mail provider now.

What they like:
a) shared drive with access controls
b) ability to record in Meet with files stored in Workspaces
c) larger drive allocation than with personal google
d) ability to fire up a Meet ad-hoc

What they don’t like:
a) Meet is definitely not the quality of Zoom. I’ve been doing some work with that group and I’ve noticed this too. I’ve taken to using the “call me on my phone” feature.

It’s a much larger org than we are, doing work in health care in rural India (healing-fields.org).

Meet definitely sucks, I don't care how integrated it is.  My team uses it for 3/week standups, and it is super annoying.

We’re going to stick with zoom for now.
