Data manipulation in Lisp-Stat

Greetings all,

 

Xor-xor recently asked a good question related to data frame queries and sqldf as a github discussion.  I’d love to hear what others think the ‘canonical’ method for data manipulation should be.  The time is right to have this discussion, as I’m wrapping up some large changes in plotting and data frame and this is one of the things I postponed to the next release as ‘needs more thinking’.  I’d love to know what people here think.
