Manyof the movies and series listed here are originals or exclusives that are likely to remain on the services for the foreseeable future. Others come and go, and often move from one service to another.

Disney+ is the flagship streaming service from Disney Co. It features movies from the Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar libraries, plus original series set in the Star Wars and Marvel universes. In some countries outside the U.S., it also includes content from Hulu. The following are all movies.

Other movies of interest: Disney+ has the virtually the entire Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar film libraries. One big exception: The Spider-Man films. Marvel is now a Disney subsidiary, but back in 1999 when it was an independent company, Marvel sold the Spider-Man movie rights to Sony Pictures.

Max (formerly HBO Max) is a subscription streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery. It features content from HBO as well as Discovery, Warner Bros., DC, Turner Classic Movies, and Adult Swim. It also has original series. In the U.S., it includes the complete Studio Ghibli film library. Outside the U.S., those films are available on Netflix. In May 2023 it relaunched as Max, incorporating content from its sibling streaming service Discovery+.

Prime Video is a subscription streaming service from Amazon, which also offers the free ad-supported Freevee service. Prime Video is available as a benefit for Amazon Prime customers, but you can also subscribe to a streaming-only version at a lower monthly price.

Other series of interest: Good Omens, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, The Rings of Power, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Grimm, The Boys, The Expanse, Wheel of Time, The Man in the High Castle, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Universe.

Pluto TV is a free ad-supported streaming service from Paramount. It includes linear channels (like conventional TV) plus on-demand content. The following are all available on demand.
