Friends, colleagues, teachers
As fall turns to winter here in the Pacific Northwest, the long nights and wet days make me long for a respite with my LA yoga community. Seeing you all online is not enough!
I will be in Los Angeles for several events.
Sunday November 16 is a special evening fundraiser to support Yoga Gives Back. This charity both helps support young girls in Southern India to get a good education. With this opportunity, most avoid arranged marriages and return to their villages with the skills needed to build healthy communities. YGB also enables yoga studios and teachers around the world to meet one another and network under the umbrella of giving back to the Motherland India. For the past seven years I have participated annually in these events. I will be hosting a table, and hope to see some of you there!

Saturday November 22 I will teach a workshop at the Center for Yoga. To maintain my equilibrium in these complicated times, I find myself drawn to inversions and twists. The mental balance required to thrive in inversions fosters my overall composure while twists literally wring out stress from the tissues in my shoulders, digestive organs and more. Join me for a rich two hours workshop! Details below:
