The accessible shower base is sloped towards the drain, but we do recommend adding our collapsible water dam to the threshold, combined with a weighted shower curtain to keep the water from splashing out of the shower.
Accessible or barrier free shower pans are designed to provide the easiest and safest access to the shower. In our experience, adding a door interferes with the accessibility of the shower, so we recommend using a weighted curtain instead.
You cannot install a sliding door track into the threshold of the accessible shower pans without voiding the warranty. We do have an accessory called a semi-permanent threshold, that could be added to the shower pan. This provides a small curb that you can install a door track onto if you prefer.

For this type of shower the only critical point is the gasket between the profile and tiles, particularly if there is visible silicone residue, which must be eliminated.
Included in this category are all types of shower with hinged openings (e.g. folding doors or hinged doors with a fixed panel). These models are practical, as they are similar to the ones mentioned above, but the hinges may complicate things. Take care not to spray aggressive glass-cleaning products on metal profiles and hinges, which should be treated more delicately.
Although contemporary models have lighter frames with slim profiles, a sliding system slightly complicates things. The Walk-In Wall shower enclosure consists of 8-mm-thick tempered safety glass. The stability of the product is ensured by a metal strut that defines the width of the open entrance.
The Walk-In Wall shower enclosure is available with a gloss or black finish for its metal parts. We recommend mounting the enclosure into a tiled bathroom corner directly on the floor, with a built-in drain gutter or floor drain. The shower enclosure is universal; it comes with a right- or left-hand-side entrance.

The first package contains a fixed glass wall with a wall profile, with a gloss or black finish.
The second package (W SET) includes a support and a metal strut, with a gloss or black finish.
The metal strut defines the width of the entrance. We suggest using the universal W SET-Uni Free/Wall with a 120-cm strut, which can be cut to any length, depending on the desired width of the entrance. The strut is connected to the wall using a metal cap which covers the cut.
The W SET-80 Corner/Wall, W SET-90 Corner/Wall or W SET-100 Corner/Wall can also be used for an 80-, 90- or 100-cm-wide entrance. The strut in these W SETS does not need to be cut, and comes without a metal cap.
