Dear members,
Following our planning meeting today at the DWSSCC, allow me share with you
the 5 strategic priority focus areas for UNICEF in the year 2009, which
provide the framework for the WASH interventions in all UNICEF's
operational district under AWP 2009.
I am also sharing with you the summary achievements report 2008 of UNICEF's
contribution to Apac, Oyam and Lira district through direct 'supplies' and
'services' of NGOs and the private sector. Please note that the results do
not include direct cash funds to the districts.
Also find attached the summary of 9 undertakings agreed upon as a
wayforward of the orientation workshop on Water Sector Policy and
Guidelines held on 17th Dec 2008
