Dear members,

Before I forget it all, let me take this opportunity to wish you all a
Merry Xmas and a prosperous New Year 2009!!! May the new year bring
renewed energy work together with the government in a more collaborative
way, planning and coordinating better than what we have excellently managed
to achieve this year.

Please find attached a DRAFT report of the orientation workshop that Lira
district, Ministry of Water and Environment and UNICEF put together with
your usual cooperation and support from the Lira District Water and
Sanitation Committee Members (also known as, WASH Cluster Members).

Dear Robert et al,

It was very good to be with all of you yesterday and to see how well as a
region you are moving slowly but surely forward in the right direction.

Robert, as discussed, please find below by comments and the attached WASH
Cluster transition strategy Paper.

General Comments:
In the paper, please try to make reference to the developed WASH Cluster
Transition Strategy paper. This is a follow up and also include the
strategic objective 2 of the PRDP, which is empowering the retuning
communities. The review of the sector guidelines will is in line of
enhancing the strategic objective of the work amongst the retuning
communities in the Lango region.
Include the agenda that you followed in the annexe
Note that all these sector policies were already shared with(See
attached file: FNL WASH Transition Strategy.doc) members in Lira on a CD
in 2007, ad they are also on the Kampala google site for review.
