Can't build LG in Xcode

I get the code sign error mentioned in the FAQ .. and a look at the
SDK list shows no iphone simulator..?

I'm new to xcode and the iphone simulator shows up in other projects
I'm using to learn.

Can you tell me why the simulator wouldn't show up for this and how to
add it?
