If that ^ thread doesn't help , then maybe try this link here: -Discussion-Technical/bd-p/star-wars-the-old-republic-en ...and/or try sending an Email to: sup...@swtor.com (with as many details, computer specs, crash-logs, screenshots, anti-virus programs, etc. etc. as you can provide )

By the way, I have the game running fine on another computer, so I copied the installed folder on this one and the result is the following: At start the launcher stays on "Looking for updates" for about 40 seconds, then the bar goes off (I guess it silently goes into timeout): Launcher update

After that, if I put my credentials, the Play button activates and then it starts to check for game updates, but it fails with Launcher error: Code 987 RepositoryFileCheck_Error_MetaFile: Launcher error

Good day
I am sorry for my english.
I have a problem with the game Star Wars old Republic.
I can't subscribe to it or buy Cartel coin. In the game it shows me Error code 10 and on the game account again that there is a problem with my account to contact support
I tried almost everything I could find. Allow game in firewall, check PC with antimalware...
None of this helped.
Since I can't even set up a subscription on my account at the game stands, it won't be a problem for me.
I last had the game subscription 09/20/2021 and everything worked normally.

To fix the account You can try to reset the password on the linked EA account (not the ea account you are logged into now) that account uses the same email as used on the swtor account

When a swtor account is made , a linked ea account is made with the same email address

did you use this link ? use this link (insert the swtor email address into that link) to reset the password then login on that EA account

That is the linked ea account as detailed in -wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked/

Support will ask you to call them as they are unable to add gametime if the swtor account is disabled as yours is

Resetting the password on the linked EA account that used the same email address should fix the swtor account, support will need this done before even they can add gametime to your swtor account

did you use this link ? use this link (insert the swtor email address into that link) to reset the password then login on that EA account

edit: just to be clear for the steam purchase you will need to email uncropped screenshots as proof of purchase per -Discussion-Technical/INFO-Steam-Purchase-Not-Working/td-p/9356718/...

Rank insignia plaques,[1] also referred to as rank pins,[7] were badges used in the military forces of Sheev Palpatine's Galactic Empire as a means to indicate and distinguish officer ranks. They were originally used by Republic officers during the Clone Wars, when Palpatine was still Chancellor of the Galactic Republic. The plaque, which was worn on the left side of the regulation tunic over the heart, consisted of translucent, colored rectangular tiles mounted on a metal bar.[1]

Those plaques could comprise one[8] or two rows of tiles mounted on top of another. Double-row plaques were made from two separate parts of one row each, rather than two rows of caps on a single backing piece.[9] The different types of tiles came in blue, red, gold yellow,[8] and grey.[10] Rank plaques could be encoded with information readable by devices such as electronic locks.[11] Members of media organizations such as the Imperial Press Corps wore Imperial media badges.[12]

Rank insignia plaques were rectangular metallic plates with colored square tiles that were attached to tunics[2] and armor[14] to denote military rank and position within the respective martial and non-martial organizations of the Galactic Republic and subsequent Galactic Empire.[2] Republic rank insignia plaques were not standardized, and had a system filled with many variants. The following Empire inherited this system,[2] and used them for a time[15] concurrently with new designs.[16] The Empire attempted to slowly transition to a more standardized rank model, and were represented by single row and double row plaques.[2] This created a mixture of non-uniform markings.[17] Imperial rank plaques could also be fitted so that the colored tiles were further apart from each other.[6]
