Dear Students

We’re pleased to announce that RMIT’s Multi-faith Chaplaincy and prayer rooms will be permanently located at Building 46, 11 Lygon St (opposite Trades Hall, map attached) from Monday 10 November.

The new building includes three spaces for prayers and activities with the appropriate facilities as well as the Multi-faith Chaplaincy offices.

The prayer rooms in Building 11 will close on Friday 7 November, 8 pm. Your swipe card will be automatically updated with the new location—there won’t be any changes to the way you access the new rooms.

Building 11 will be fully refurbished with works expected to be completed in mid 2015 when the original Chapel of the Old Melbourne Gaol will reopen.

Kind regards

Professor Owen E. Hughes
