Hi all,

It's hard to believe that IPS (International Planetarium Society) 2026 is just over four months away... For those of you not already familiar with it:
Website: https://www.ips2026fukuoka.com/
Dates: June 21 through 26
Location: Fukuoka, Japan

I'm organizing a Mini LIPS that will take place on Wednesday, June 24. The schedule will be:

9:30 to 12:30: Classroom sessions
12:30 to 13:30: Lunch
13:30 to 15:30: Sessions in a 10m dome (note: I'm still working out what projection equipment will be in that 10m dome)

Would you like to present? If so, please send me the following at karrie <AT> DigitalisEducation.com:

1. Your name, institution, and email address
1a. Co-presenters, if any
2. Presentation location preference (classroom or dome)
3. Amount of time you would like: 15, 30, or 45 minutes
4. Session title
5. A few sentences about your session

Let me know if you need more information before you can decide.

Thanks,
Karrie

Hey everyone,

I still have some time available for the IPS 2026 Mini LIPS. I have about one hour each in the classroom or the dome. Let me know if you'd like to grab some time.

Also, I plan to do a session in the dome about introducing the idea of interaction to the audience - that is, how you explain what you expect of the audience, such as pointing to objects, sharing ideas with their neighbors, etc. Would anyone like to co-present with me on this? I'm thinking it would be a 30 minute session, maybe going to 45 minutes if others want to share their introductions.

Thanks,
Karrie
