Hi,

I am currently trying to test LipidXplorer for a lipidomics pipeline and came across some struggles and thought that someone perhaps could help me (Any help would be appreciated). I have been trying for some time to get everything running but couldnt get it done.

My aim is to have a pipeline available to use from command line, however I also want to use the GUI to get familiar with all parameters etc.

I am using v1.2.8.1 containing an already existing exe file for GUI

and another downloaded zip file also v1.2.8.1 containg lximport.py and lxrun.py for running in command line.

My problems:

1) In GUI when pressing "start import" i get stuck at the following popup window without progress (see figure below)

2) I have the following error when trying to generate the masterscan using the lximport.py in command line:

  C:\LipidXplorer\lipidxplorer-v1.2.8.1>python lximport.py -p test1.lxp
  File "C:\LipidXplorer\lipidxplorer-v1.2.8.1\lximport.py", line 201
print "ERROR: The masterscan file was not specified. Use the ",
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
SyntaxError: Missing parentheses in call to 'print'. Did you mean print(...)?

I attached my test1.lxp file maybe I have something i got wrong.

3) It would be really helpfull to know which zip file i should download for latest update and ability to use gui and command line.

Thanks in advance and thanks for all that effort  to make a user friendly software

Sincerely,

Abraham Moyal

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I am so sorry a dragged it in the mail but seemingly cant append the file. Here is a link to the lxp file: The lxp file.
It would be cool to know what are the stable versions to use when using Command line

Thanks in advance,

Sincerely,
